The Russian lawyer story was just a little too convenient.
Just when the Russian collusion story was dying, suddenly we get knowledge of the Donald Trump Jr meeting with Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya.
The media declared, “He should have TOLD US!”
As we’ve seen, the story holds no merit, then we get the latest revelations. No surprise that the New York Times lied about the connection of the Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya to the Kremlin. Next, Donald Trump Jr. released emails proving that his key motivation for the meeting was to discuss Russian adoptions in the US.
In either case, Trump Jr. thought he was dealing with a legitimate Russian lawyer on legit business. However, the law firm where Veselnitskaya supposedly practices doesn’t have a website. One would think any of the major media would have noted Veselnitskaya’s office at Kamerton Consulting doesn’t even have a working phone.
The Kremlin claims no knowledge of Veselnitskaya. And according to Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin has no knowledge of any meeting between Veselnitskaya and Trump Jr.
“No, we don’t know who that is and obviously we can’t monitor all meetings Russian lawyers hold both in Russia and abroad.”
So who is Natalia Veselnitskaya?
Only eight days after contacting Donald Trump Jr, Veselnitskaya sits front and center at a Foreign Affairs Committee hearing.
At about 5:14 in the video, you can clearly see Veselnitskaya sitting behind Obama’s Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul. That’s a prominent seat in political circles, and you don’t get that seat by being first in line at the door.
It’s reported that Veselnitskaya also appeared in the June 14, 2016 Congressional hearing on Russia and Ukraine.
How does one get this level of access in a Congressional hearing? I can’t answer this, but I do have a few ideas.
Rumors persist that Veselnitskaya may have involvement in the now discredited Trump Dossier, though we have nothing firm on this. What we do have is what we always have with leftists. Lots of circumstantial evidence.
There is a saying, “If one buzzard circles, something may be dead. If 100 buzzards circle, something’s definitely dead.” There are 100 buzzards circling around the Russians and their involvement being a creation of Democrats at the highest level of the previous administration.
Yet again, the truth crushes the bony necks of the Left.
